Genesis: The Gospel from the Beginning
In Genesis, we see the creation of everything. God created light and dark and land and sea. But the most important creature was humanity. The first two humans had everything they could ever need but they wanted more. Their sin caused them to want to be like God. Because of that, all humanity is covered with the sin guilt of Adam. Genesis is a history of humanity and how God's plan to redeem creation through the work of Jesus Christ. Genesis tells us about God, us, sin, and redemption.
