Chris Barber

Chris Barber

Elder

Chris Barber is married to Lisa, who is the mother of his 4 children. He enjoys being outdoors on his hobby farm. He is originally from Arkansas and has been at FBA for 6 years.

   

Jonathan Greene

Elder

Jonathan Greene is married to Stacy, and they have 3 children. He enjoys fly fishing and boating. Jonathan and his family have been attending FBA for the past 12 years.

Jonathan Nichols

Elder

Jonathan Nichols has worked as a safety professional in the construction industry for 6 years. His wife, Jennifer Nichols, stays at home with their four kids. They have attended FBA for the last 8 years.

   

Ryan Roach

Elder, Lead Pastor

Originally from Virginia, Ryan graduated from Old Dominion University and then Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary for his M.Div. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Seminary in Portland, OR with an emphasis on expository preaching. 

Before coming to FBA, Ryan served churches in various capacities in Virginia, Arizona, California, and Florida.

Corey Staton

Corey Staton

Elder, Associate Pastor to Students and Families

Corey has been married to Carrie since 2012 and they have three boys Fisher, Eli, and Haddon. Before coming to FBA Corey served as a pastor in North Carolina. 

Corey graduated from Campbell University and received his M.Div. From Shepherds Theological Seminary.   

   

Glenn Walker

Elder

Glenn Walker moved to Tennessee in 1978 to begin work with TVA. He met his wife, Janice Davis, here in Knoxville, and they were married in 1984. They joined FBA in 1989. They have no children but love spending time with their nieces and nephews. Glenn and Janice volunteer at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Glenn's hobbies include golf and officiating high school football, which he has done for 43 years.
