Ryan Roach

Lead Pastor

Originally from Virginia, Ryan graduated from Old Dominion University and then Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary for his M.Div. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Western Seminary in Portland, OR with an emphasis on expository preaching. 

Before coming to FBA, Ryan served churches in various capacities in Virginia, Arizona, California, and Florida.

Ryan has been in ministry since 2004 and joined FBA in 2019. He married Morgan in 2007 and together they are blessed with two sons, both adopted from foster care, and a daughter. Ryan likes most sports and is most passionate about college basketball.



Jonathan Greene


Jonathan Greene is married to Stacy, and they have 3 children. He enjoys fly fishing and boating. Jonathan and his family have been attending FBA for the past 12 years. 



Chris Barber


Chris Barber is married to Lisa, who is the mother of his 4 children. He enjoys being outdoors on his hobby farm. He is origianlly from Arkansas, and has been at FBA for 6 years.



Bill Webb


Bill Webb is married to Gail. Bill is retired from the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) and Gail is a former school teacher. They have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Bill and Gail have been members of FBA for 41 years.



Jonathan Nichols


Jonathan Nichols has worked as a safety professional in the construction industry for 6 years. His wife, Jennifer Nichols, stays at home with their four kids. They have attended FBA for the last 8 years.



Glenn Walker


Glenn Walker moved to Tennessee in 1978 to begin work with TVA. He met his wife, Janice Davis, here in Knoxville, and they were married in 1984. They joined FBA in 1989. They have no children, but love spending time with their nieces and nephews. Glenn and Janice volunteer at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. Glenn's hobbies include golf and officiating high school football, which he has done for 43 years.



When they had appointed elders for them in every church, having prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
