College + Career

Our College + Career ministry exists to provide Christian friendship and deep discipleship to the next generation. During a turbulent time when so many are seeking meaning, purpose, and something greater than themselves, we want to walk beside them with support, encouragement, and direction. We don’t always have the answers, but we hold fast to Christ and his church.

During this transitional time, these young adults are entering into the larger Christian community. We offer a Bible Study and other events just for these young adults! Our College + Career activities are open to anyone including non-Christians and members of other churches. In addition to these special activities, we want our College + Career Group to make Sunday morning church attendance a priority in their lives.

Bible Study (Sundays at 6 PM)

Outside of our Sunday morning worship service, we offer a Bible Study that meets once a week on Sundays at 6 PM throughout the semester. We hangout with each other, play games, study the Bible, eat snacks, and pray for one another. Besides the Bible study time, our favorite thing that we do is our “one another” time where we practice the command to love one another by honoring one another (Romans 12:10), bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and confessing to one another (James 5:16). This is one of the ways that we turn gospel doctrine into gospel culture. We meet at the church parsonage. Contact Pastor Chandler for more information.

Events

Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, we have events just for our College + Career Group. These are fun events meant to facilitate meaningful friendships and introduce others to the group. Events might include white water rafting, hikes, Top Golf, and other activities.
