What will service be like?
Each week we want you to be able to experience great music, an encouraging message, and friendly people as part of the First Baptist Alcoa experience. You can start checking in your kids 15 minutes before the service and then enjoy some complimentary coffee. Our service starts promptly at 10:00 am.
A normal service starts with a few current announcements, followed by a time of worship together. After a couple of songs, Pastor Ryan leads us in a Pastoral Prayer, which is directly followed by a few more songs of praise. After the worship time, there will be a sermon, followed by a closing worship song. Each service also includes an opportunity to give.
How do I get there?
FBA meets at 819 Gilbert St, Alcoa, TN 37701. Click here for directions.
There is plenty of parking and signs to point you in the right direction from there.
What time should I arrive?
Our service starts at 10:00 am. You can enjoy complimentary coffee in the back of the worship center.
If you’re bringing your family with you, we’d recommend getting here 10-15 minutes before service starts to make sure you’ve got enough time to register your children in FBA Kids. Alternatively, you can register them here to save some time!
What should I wear?
We’re more concerned with meeting your real-life needs than with what you wear to church. Most people will dress in casual attire, so dress comfortably and you’ll fit right in.
What is there for my kids?
Our environment for children, FBA Kids, offers experiences that your children will love. We have specialized programming for children ages six months to 5th grade. Students in grades 6-12 attend the regular worship service.

Will I be called out as a first-time guest?
No, we’re not going to call you out and make you wave or stand up. We will ask you to fill out a Connect Card simply so that we have a way to follow up with you to make sure you are getting all of the information you need. Plus we have a gift for you just as our way of saying thank you for joining us! Please stop by the Info Point table in the back of the worship center before you leave to receive your gift and ask any questions that you may have about First Baptist Alcoa. We would love to get to know you.
