Music Day Camp

Psalm 86:12

“I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.”

Music Day Camp is an intense week filled with extreme games, crafts, snacks, field trips, and most of all, MUSIC! Music Day Camp is held for one week in the summer, Monday thru Friday, from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The week is capped off with the campers presenting their musical along with an awards ceremony on Sunday night. During the week, campers will learn an entire musical with speaking parts, solos, and choreography while participating in games, crafts, and field trips. Our field trips are scheduled according to the theme of the musical for the week. For example, one year we did a western musical and went to a horse ranch where all our campers were able to ride horses. We also went to Texas Roadhouse and had lunch one day. Another year, we had an Olympics-themed musical and went to a gymnastics center and to the UT football complex center. One field trip that campers always look forward to is our pool day. Throughout the week, we also have a competition between the boys and the girls – we raise money and donate it to Second Harvest Food Bank. By the end of the week, the campers are exhausted! It is amazing to see what all God can do through kids in just one week!
