God's Plan of Salvation

Whether or not to become a Christian is the most important decision you will ever make. This decision not only determines where you will spend eternity, but it will also determine every other aspect of your life.

All People Have Sinned Against God
The Bible says that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory – we don’t measure up alongside God (Romans 3:23). The word sin means disobedience to anything in our lives that is contrary to what God wants us to do; to miss a target by falling short of that target. It is the failure of a person to live the life which God has planned for him to live. Everyone has sinned – that is what keeps us separated from God.
The Price of Sin Is High
The Bible says that the payment for our sin must be death; but God has created a gift for us which will take the place of that required payment – the gift of eternal life through His son, Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). The person who lives without God in this life will pay the awful price of an eternity separated from God. The Bible calls this place of separation, hell. While God doesn’t send anyone to hell by His own will, He has given each human the free choice to choose to accept Him as Savior or to reject Him (or to fail to make this choice). It isn’t God who sends anyone to hell, but it is a result of our own choice. Hell was never meant to be the eternal home of humans, but God, even though He loves us, can’t allow rebellious people to enter into heaven, the eternal dwelling of God's people. It is a place where God lives in perfect harmony with His people.
God Loves us in Spite of Our Sin
The Bible says that God extended His love toward us even though we were sinners, and sent His son Jesus Christ to die instead of us (Romans 5:8).
Because of God’s righteousness, He must require that the penalty for each person’s sin be paid; or someone who is acceptable to God can serve as your substitute and accept the punishment you deserve – this substitute must pay the penalty! The death of God’s Son, Jesus, is the greatest demonstration of the love of God for all sinners! It’s a tremendous love when someone would die in the place of one that they love. But Jesus died for all those who rebel against God … all those who don’t “measure up.”
Repent, Turn Toward God, and Have Your Sins Completely Taken Away
The Bible says that when the time comes that you want to be obedient toward God and receive His forgiveness, you must repent and be converted so that your sins may be erased (Acts 3:19). The word ‘repent’ means to turn around and go in a different direction. It means a change of mind and life toward God and His will. If you are willing to turn to God, then God will erase the record of all your past sins and restore you to the purity that you must have in order to enter into a relationship with Him. Jesus described this experience as a "new birth." Your part is to confess your sin, and God's part is to forgive you and restore you to this new relationship with Him.

It’s Only By God’s Grace That You Can Receive His Free Gift (Eternal Life) Through Faith in Him, Which Also Comes from God
The Bible says we are saved by God’s grace through our faith in Him; and not because of anything that we can do ourselves: this is God’s gift to us (Ephesians 2:8).
The word “grace” refers to the kindness and love of God in His willingness to forgive and save us. Faith means that you trust to the point of commitment in Him no matter what! You can’t just believe in God, but you must be willing to give your life to God's teachings and God's will. Forgiveness and the gift of eternal life is God's gift if you will receive it with a commitment to turn and follow Jesus.
Confess That Jesus Is Your Lord and Believe That He Was Raised from the Dead by God
The Bible says if you publicly confess that Jesus is the Lord of your life and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, then you will be saved (Romans 10:9). The word “confess” means to acknowledge that Jesus is Savior and Lord, to believe with all your heart that Jesus died on the cross for you and came out of the grave,  and to believe that He is alive and will change your life as you follow and obey His teachings.
Pray (call upon) to the Lord and Be Saved
The Bible says that whoever calls upon God in the name of Jesus will be saved (Romans 10:13). “Whoever” means that anyone can ask God for forgiveness for their sins, turn away from that sin, and follow Jesus.
If you believe all of the above, then pray this simple prayer and mean it and you will be saved:

"Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I know You died on the cross for me. I now turn away from my sins and ask You to forgive me. I invite You into my heart and life. I trust You as Savior and will follow You as my Lord. Thank You for saving me. Amen."
If you prayed this prayer to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, would you email us and let us know? We care about you
